MIKE PATRICK BIOGRAPHY

While growing up in southwest Missouri, Mike Patrick developed a love for music and theatre.  During his high school years, Mike began playing piano for several southern gospel groups.... one of which was the Max Bacon Family.  Performing with this family led to the origination of two popular Branson shows:  The Sunday Gospel Jubilee and the Ozark Mountain Jubilee.  Since the start of these two successful shows, thousands have been entertained.  Simultaneously, Mike began playing piano and performing comedy with one of Branson's founding shows, the Foggy River Boys.  Although the group retired their Branson Theatre, Mike continues to do occasional appearances with them as fans still request special concerts.

If all the above wasn't enough to keep him busy, following high school, Mike attended and graduated from Southwest Missouri State University with a degree in Communications Management.  For several years, Mike served as Entertainment & Events Manager for Silver Dollar City where produced live entertainment and festivals to include the Great American Music Festival, the National Kid's Fest. and the Old-Time Christmas Festival.  During his tenure at SDC, one of Mike's favorite achievements was producing Branson's Show of the Year, "Echo Hollow Jubilee", in 2001.  Also, being a big fan of the former Opryland Theme Park, getting to work with and produce Depp Britt's, Cumberland Quartet, at SDC, was an honor.

In 2004, Mike became the Director of Entertainment & Events for Grand Country Square.  This wonderful resort is home to a fantastic hotel, indoor waterpark, three restaurants, indoor golf and a theatre which features several award-winning shows.

In the spring of 2004, Mike received the honor of being named to the Nixa High School, Academic Hall of Fame.

In his spare time, Mike loves flying, boating and gun collecting.  During the summer months, Table Rock Lake is his favorite pastime.  Mike is also a member of the Riverdale Baptist Church in Nixa.
